Join me at my home to learn typical Tuscan home cooking using recipes passed down from generation to generation to create dishes at home for family and friends.

Food is at the heart of Italian culture and embodies tradition, family and regional pride. The flavours and experiences that Italian cuisine offers captivate people from around the world and brings them together around the table   

The Italian language is rich in culinary references that appear almost everywhere - in proverbs, idioms, songs, art, cinema and literature, and on a daily basis many conversations with friends and family in Italy include some mention of food.  

It was through my language school offering Italian language and cultural activities that the love and fascination which foreigners have for Italy and Italian food quickly became apparent. 

I decided to start Netta's Kitchen - offering half day hands-on Tuscan cooking classes.  After all, different from other subjects which I taught in the UK, I also taught cooking classes at Adult Education Centres in the UK before moving to live in Cortona.

Together with my family we then created our seven day All-inclusive Tuscany Cultural Experiences for small groups of up to 8 people.
